Born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Cameron came to Guangzhou in 2012 to study at Jinan University as an exchange student. Since then, he has built his career in South China bringing Canada and China together to expand business interests on both sides.
卡昕泽出生并成长于加拿大新斯科舍省达特茅斯。2012年，他作为交换生前往广州暨南大学学习。自此，他深耕华南市场，致力于推动中加两国商业合作，助力企业拓展国际业务。
His company, Ostar Global (澳新国际) specializes in overseas corporate business services and immigration consulting for Chinese entrepreneurs looking to expand their business operations overseas. The company is particularly strong in immigration and corporate services for those businesses heading to Canada, USA, Singapore and Hong Kong.
卡昕泽创立的澳新国际 (Ostar Global) 专注于海外企业商务服务与移民咨询，助力中国企业家布局海外市场。公司在移民及企业服务领域具备卓越优势，尤其擅长协助企业拓展至加拿大、美国、新加坡及香港等地。
Cameron is also a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), fluent Chinese speaker and group photo enthusiast. After a decade in the region, he takes great pride in serving as a bridge between the businesses of Canada and the Pearl River Delta, using international trade and investment to bring the two worlds a little bit closer together.

Robert Turnbull
Vice President - Community & Culture Guangzhou
Rob began his China story in 2004 when he came to China to work (for a year). With no resources or network, he had a desire to do something. After bouncing around a few different jobs and industries, he ended up doing commercial real estate with Fortune 500 giant CBRE, working in their Guangzhou office and specializing in logistics and office space.
Rob 的中国故事始于 2004 年，他最初来到中国工作一年。尽管没有资源或人脉，但他始终怀揣创业梦想。在多个行业和岗位历练后，他最终加入全球 500 强企业世邦魏理仕 (CBRE)，在广州办公室专注于物流仓储及办公空间的商业地产业务。
Inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit and economic momentum of early 2000s Guangzhou, Rob later left CBRE to go into business for himself in the hospitality industry, opening several restaurants and bars across south China that have become widely recognized brands and social hubs for the expat community and local residents alike.
受 2000 年代初广州蓬勃的经济发展和创业精神所启发，Rob 之后离开 CBRE，投身餐饮行业，创办多家餐厅及酒吧。这些品牌不仅广受认可，更成为南中国外籍人士与本地居民的重要社交场所。
After successfully building The Brew and Bandidos brands from the ground up, Rob opened his most ambitious project to date in 2020, a 200 seat sports bar in Panyu known simply as the GOAT. Despite challenges posed by the pandemic Rob has built up the GOAT to become a beloved destination for craft beer, live sports, live music and full western menu. Along with Bandidos and The Goat, Rob now has opened a second GOAT at Canton Tower, purchased Liberty Brewing Co in Dongguan, and investments in Cages Sports Bar & Restaurant and Shamrock Irish Pub.

Oscar Zheng

Oscar Zheng is a Foshan native and alumni of Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia, living in BC, Canada since 2001. After moving back to China where he has built up an impressive local business network.

Pax Webb

Pax Webb grew up in the small town of Sechelt, British Columbia, a village with one traffic light and a grad class of only 52 people. While completing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, he invested in a DJ system with two friends and began a small business hosting parties on campus and around town. What began as a fun way to make a bit of extra spending money soon grew into a successful business, and within a decade was the largest DJ and video dance company in Western Canada.

Pax's entrepreneurial spirit later brought him to Shenzhen in 2005 where he became one of Shenzhen's most prominent expats, having led successful projects in marketing, e-commerce and local nightlife. Notably, Pax served as promotions manager with the Coco Park management team for several years, playing a key role in the growth of several of the group's most prominent venues such as Sicilia, Eden and Mojo.

In 2018, Pax dived headfirst into the international trade and B2C e-commerce space, and for the past 7 years has headed up BM Trading as sourcing manager. Using his extensive local network, Pax helps international B2B clients with all their sourcing and QC needs across numerous product categories.

YC Cai Vice President

YC was born in Shenyang before moving to Canada at as a child, coming of age in Ottawa and graduating from the University of Western Ontario in 2010, or as he would say: “casted in China, machined in Canada.”
出生于沈阳，年少移居加拿大并成长于渥太华的YC于2010年毕业于西安大略大学。他这样形容自己：“种子根源在中，灌溉开花于加，合璧甚好。”
YC came to Shenzhen in 2013 where he dived into the Shenzhen's vibrant virtual reality and interior design industries. He later launched YCVR, a leading virtual reality software and hardware developer, becoming the Canadian community's resident expert on all things metaverse and virtual reality.
2013年回国定居深圳后，YC便一头扎进了蓬勃发展的虚拟现实和室内设计行业。随后，他率领团队创立了如今已是领先的虚拟现实软件和硬件开发商 YCVR。自此，珠三角加商大家庭多了一位元宇宙和虚拟现实的行家。
YCVR focuses on Metaverse high-fidelity virtual content production and supporting software and hardware production. The company has worked with top real estate developers, design giants, operators and technology companies as well as corporate and retail business partners.

Martin Haase Vice President
Changsha Local Initiatives
Martin Haase, a Canadian national born in Victoria, BC, has been living in Changsha, Hunan Since 2007. Martin is proud to join the 2025 Executive Team of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in the Pearl River Delta (CanCham PRD). He is also an official committee member of the Hunan Provincial Wushu Association.
马丁·哈斯，加拿大籍，出生于加拿大维多利亚市，现定居中国长沙，从事中医研究及国际文化交流。自2007年定居长沙以来，马丁先生即将担任珠三角加拿大商会（CanCham PRD）2025年度执行团队副会长，同时也是湖南省武术协会正式委员会成员。
Martin is a graduate student from the Department of Acupuncture and Tuina at Hunan University of Chinese Medicine. He currently serves as the Canadian Director of the International High School Program at Changsha Mingde High School. Additionally, he is the Deputy Director of the Free Clinic Service Working Committee of the World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Societies, a Special Correspondent for the Hunan International Communication Center, and an Overseas Council Member of Changsha People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. A skilled practitioner of Chinese medicine and martial arts, Martin has earned several awards in provincial martial arts competitions and continues to advocate for cultural and educational exchanges between Canada and China.
马丁先生拥有湖南中医药大学针灸推拿系的研究生学位，并担任长沙明德中学中加课程中心的加拿大项目负责人。他也是世界针灸学会联合会义诊工作委员会副主任委员，以及湖南国际传播中心特约海外通讯员。作为中医与武术领域的杰出代表，马丁在湖南省武术比赛中多次获奖，并且积极推动中加两国在文化、教育及医疗领域的交流与合作。
Over the years, Martin has actively participated in international conferences and media interviews, positioning himself as a key figure in the modernization and globalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine. His work has significantly contributed to fostering cultural ties between Canada and China, as well as enhancing Changsha and Hunan’s global presence.
多年来，马丁先生频繁参与国际会议及媒体访谈，成为中医现代化与全球化的代言人。他的努力不仅促进了中加文化交流，也在增强长沙及湖南与国际社会的联系方面做出了突出贡献。
As Vice President of CanCham PRD, Martin plans to leverage his extensive experience in cultural, educational, and business fields to foster innovation and collaboration within the Chamber. He aims to strengthen Canada-China business relations by organizing trade events, networking opportunities, and industry forums to create more opportunities for member companies. Additionally, Martin seeks to promote cultural and talent exchanges, enhancing the Chamber's global outlook and expanding its influence worldwide, ultimately contributing to the deepening of Canada-China relations.
